How Learn About Pet Came Into Existence?

Learnaboutpet is about my life, as a pet owner and in general. It's also about me working on a new website project called Learnaboutpet at learnaboutpet.com. I'm writing this to give the background of why I'm making it and what the unique idea is that makes it different from other products and sites out there. Our 2 dogs (Chloe and Billy), and 1 cat (Mr. Big) were all we had in terms of pets. We were always looking for a good and reliable source to find out information about our dogs and cats. It took me years of searching for information, before I realized the pet industry was missing a very large market, that needed to be filled.

The idea that triggered Learnaboutpet: One day I got curious and did the search on Google; "Learn about pets". What came back was an overwhelming list of sites that all looked the same. They all had information about pets, but none were any different than the other. There was no new ideas or anything innovative or exciting to stay on my computer and figure out how our animals worked. I thought if I saw it as a pet owner, there's more people who would see this too and it would help the pet industry so I decided to enter this project.

From the start I knew I wanted to create a website and try to fill a much needed gap that was missing in the market about pets and their care. It's not just for dogs and cats; it's mostly aimed at giving accurate information on all kinds of living creatures. We even cover exotic pets like Turtles, Axolotls and Bearded dragons. So far, I've been working on it for a while and there's still much to do. It will take several more years of development before Learnaboutpet is complete. Over time this web site will have many different pieces that make up the whole product. I'm not going to get into details about all of them right now, but they cover a lot of territory.

The articles are a main part of the site, written in a way that's easy to understand and entertaining. The recommended reading list is another big part; it will contain unique information not found elsewhere on the site or any other sites. Besides these 2 types of features there will be over 5,000 animated pictures with "how to" instructions on pet grooming, specific pet care information, surgery guides; a section called "Pet Clinic" has videos and short lessons on how to take care of various types of pets. These are just some examples of what the features will be on Learnaboutpet.

Now onto the real "unique idea".

The unique idea or feature was what made me want to create this product. This is the thing that will make Learnaboutpet stand out from every other pet site or book out there.

It's the idea of "Inside Insider Secrets & Confessions". These are stories written by pet owners about their pets, whether it be funny, shocking, happy, sad or crazy. It could be anything, but it's up to the author to write about their pet stories and experiences in a way that everybody can read it and find it interesting. These are not fictional stories like most books have on pets; each story will have real owners who wrote them, adding their pictures, which also helps give credibility to the writing. In the end, it will be a very valuable source of information for pet owners and animal lovers.

One thing that I would like to tell you about is this website project Learnaboutpet might not just be for Dogs, Cats & other pets too; It could include people stories too since Pets are family members too!
